Our approach is all about you and your dog. We understand that each dog has its own personality, strengths, and areas for improvement. With this hands-on approach, our trainers will coach you through how to reinforce wanted behaviors, enhancing your communication with your dog. The following behaviors can be taught through Private Coaching:
Recall: Ensuring your dog responds promptly and consistently when called, even in distracting settings.
Loose Leash Walking (Heeling): Teaching your dog to walk calmly beside you, without pulling.
Sit-Stay: Teaching your dog to sit and maintain the position until given the signal to move.
Down-Stay: Guiding your dog to lie down and remain in that position until released.
Place: Training your dog to go to a designated spot and stay until directed otherwise.
Out Command: This cue tells your dog to immediately drop whatever they have in their mouth.
Trick Commands: We can teach any basic trick command such as shake, sit pretty, rollover, play dead, or touch. More advanced trick behaviors may require additional sessions.
Flexibility: Each private training session is designed to fit seamlessly into your schedule. Each coaching session typically lasts up to an hour and is scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This flexible structure allows us to progress at a pace that’s comfortable for you and your dog.
Training Roadmap: At the end of each coaching session, we’ll provide you with a recap of what was covered, the progress your dog made, and any tips or exercises to practice between sessions. These recaps are valuable resources that will help you stay on track and make the most of your training experience.
